Job Description

    Role Specific Responsibilities
    • Interfaces with other processes and/or business functions to ensure they can leverage the benefits provided by the Configuration Management process
    • Responsible for managing the configuration of all IaaS assets across the platforms (Azure, AWS & GCP)
    • Manages the evaluation of Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, Powershell DSC) and recommend those that best meet the organizations requirements
    • Ensures appropriate security and access levels to the Configuration Management System
    • Responsible for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process implementation using Azure Devops/GitHub Actions
    • Extensive exposure to Configuration Management policies and practices with regards to SDLC; along with automation of scripting using Powershell, Python scripting
    • Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model
    • Responsible for the execution of the process controls, ensuring that staff comply with process and data standards
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or relevant experience and accomplishments
    • 3 to 6 years of experience in the IT field
    • Minimum of 2+ years direct, hands-on experience with any of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins/Azure Devops
    • 2+ years direct, hands-on experience with automated cloud provisioning and management on any of the Cloud Platforms Azure, AWS, GCP (Must Have)
    • 2+ years direct, hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
    • Experience in writing python, YAML, ruby and shell scripts to automate the deployment and scheduling
    • Demonstrated proficiency with one or more scripting/programming languages relevant to Devops PowerShell, Python, BASH, and similar
    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with business and technical teams
    • Good understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile, scrum
    • Good Knowledge in Administration of Production, Development and Test environments carrying different operating system platforms like Windows, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Centos.
