Job Description

    Were looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time, in-house copywriter. We believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work and results.Should work closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each clients industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.Objectives of this RoleThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround timesContinually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives actionComfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at handMaintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trendsStay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messagingResponsibilitiesWrite copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and onlineInterpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brandsResearch and understand the clients needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetingsWrite original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materialsCollaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messagingDevelop and implement brand guidelinesSee projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deploymentQualifications1-8 years experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agencyStrong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptuallyComfortable working independently with a little direction under tight deadlinesExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammarProven ability to demonstrate brand voiceStrong attention to detailSocial media or content marketing experience a plus
