GTI Integrated Compute Services (ICS) is defined as the distributed, storage, IP network and Data Center services consumed by applications and enabling infrastructure in the Data Center. ICS consolidates all logical and physical activities performed across Data Centre Operations (DCO), and most of Global Network Services (GNS) and Distributed Technology Services (DTS) in the end to end delivery of data center infrastructure. The ICS Managed Services Team is responsible for the provision & migration of all GTI supported servers, engaging with the DTS or Client Technology Services (CTS) planning teams for architecture and design activities and transitioning build infrastructures to production support.In order to optimize the process for managing the firms VSI (Virtual Server Infrastructure) ICS have constructed a dedicated V2V (Virtual to Virtual) solutions team whose function it is to own the planning and migration for the firms Virtual Server Infrastructure. As an implementation engineer within the V2V Solutions Team you will be a key resource within a team of engineers whose core function is VSI host migration scheduling, planning and implementation tasks. The role requires attention to detail, good planning skills and will involve interaction with LoB PM s and engineering resources. You will need ESX, VC, Windows, Linux & networking skills. Additional skills imperative to this role include a working knowledge of MS excel. Other skills useful to this role include a working knowledge of JPM Internal tools such as TAMS, PRIME, Host master, ITSM.HSA Access :This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignmentQualifications
