Job Description

        1. o give effective credit support for meeting the business targets.
        2. To frame the lending policy framework, processes and workflow, assist in setting up the mortgages business in India.
        3. To approve credit applications as per DOA judiciously.
        4. Ensuring that quality of Bank s exposure in India is acceptable at all time.
        5. Provide guidance to the team of relationship managers on areas of policy and processes.
    Key Accountabilities:
        1. To roll-out the credit lending framework including policies, processes, controls, etc for launching the mortgages business in India.
        2. To recommend / approve credit applications in line with agreed process workflows and policies after highlighting / considering all significant risks.
        3. To keep track of delinquency levels and ensuring that requisite follow up is being done to ensure that overdues are regularised in a time bound manner.
        4. To have a sound knowledge of the Indian market especially Micro SME customer segment in terms of risks associated with this product.
        5. To apply knowledge of RBI Regulations/ MAS Guidelines that govern credit dispensation, including the Loan Grading, Provisioning and Asset Classification regulations.
        6. To have a working knowledge of the general Legal framework in which the bank operates in India and apply the same.
    Job Duties and Responsibilities:
      1. Set up policy / processes for mortgages pan India.
      2. Approve Mortgage applications for his respective branch / location / region.
      3. Portfolio monitoring / tracking & escalation of adverse new events in the portfolio.
      4. Ensure meticulous compliance with Bank s internal credit policy as well as regulatory guidelines.
      5. Ensure compliance with the benchmark Turnaround Time.
      6. Ensure proper guidance / support to the team of relationship managers.
      7. Ensure processing of files within agreed timelines
