Data & Analytics Program & Operations Lead - Vice President

Job Description

The Wholesale KYC Operations Data & Analytics Team is looking for a hands-on leader who will be part of a high performing team of data management professionals focused on developing and delivering innovative data analytics solutions to KYC LOB stakeholders across LOB s. The Data & Analytics Lead will be responsible for maintaining data control, delivering business intelligence, developing strategies for effective data analysis and servicing critical regulatory commitments.Responsibilities:

• Data & Platform Management:
  • Serve as the IO and Operations lead for the Client Analytics Platform owned
  • Establish key Frameworks & Operating Models that will elevate reporting controls applied on the data within teeh CAP platform
  • Develop and drive key analytics from the ground up to enable multi-stream technical / operations solutions to consumers of the CAP Platform
  • Structure and scope complex problems, applying a range of analytical tools, gaining, and synthesizing insights and developing solutions key to solve data exceptions/ queries
  • Apply institutional knowledge from the KYC Operations and Reference Data industry; and Draw insight from the industry to assess and imbibe where applicable
• Operations Leadership:
  • Ensure the delivery of BAU Data Management Controls & adhoc-reporting requirements across multiple consumers in partnership with Technology & Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) Team
  • Collaborate with the LOB, Consumers, Reference Data and Technology partners to perform root cause analysis and develop the strategic remediation path for new/ existing data quality issues. This includes understanding the end to end process and controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert around the KYC infrastructure environment assisting Exe./ Sr. Management, Compliance & external teams with periodical & ad hoc requests.
  • Lead the company-wide definition of data categories and relevant data sources; Select, configure and implement analytics solutions using design thinking principles
• Partner & People:
  • Own and lead partnerships across business functions to enable data quality/ exceptions deliverables to the WKO Production, Regulatory, Reviewers, Quality, Controls and Analytics teams.
  • Lead and develop a team of Technical & Functional data analysts that partner in lock-step with the Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) organization
  • Advocate the development and adoption of strategic transformation, analytical & visualization tools to enable impactful data reporting with ease and at scale

• A bachelor s degree is required; qualified Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field is a preference
• 10+ years experience with an experience as a Project Manager, Data Management, Analytics reporting, and Business Analysis experience is key. Focus in the Data Analytics / Data Management space highly preferred
• Strong analytical / critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to develop and clearly present drawn conclusions & potential solutions with consideration to inherent risks
• Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
• Strong project management skills with experience running large meetings with demonstrated success at achieving results and keeping meetings on track
• Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including synthesizing key messages for senior management
• Aptitudeto think outside the box and balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress
• Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority in order to progress initiatives
• Proficient in Planning tools (Excel, VISIO, Signavio, PowerPoint, )
• Exposure to Data Interrogation & visualization Tools: SQL, Alteryx, Qliksense, Tableau, SAS, Python & R
• Subject Matter Expertise across KYC, AML & Client Reference Data is a plus
