With this mission, we are setting up a Data as a Service team at Novartis Hyderabad, which would work with the Chief Digital Office, Novartis Business units and industry leading technology partners, to drive the execution of Novartis data strategy , turning its rich data resources into real strategic assets to drive actionable insights across the organization. This ambition is one of key pillars in the broader digital transformation happening at Novartis to be a medicines and data science company.Your Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include but not are limited to: Bring deep domain understanding in at least one of the following areas a) Pharma R&D, b) Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain and c) Marketing and Sales. Experience in working in Pharma / Life Science industry strongly preferred Collaborate with Architects, lead engineers, business stakeholders and IT teams on product design and features Ability to prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies Open to learning new technology stacks at short notice and being able to contribute meaningfully within a short period of time Understanding of enterprise approved schema, tools and platforms is a plus but not mandatory Manage quality and consistency of NBS CONEXTS data services delivery to all stakeholders Deliver on data strategy priorities and DLC activities in an AGILE manner with appropriate documentation and communication throughout the delivery of services Ability to drive large scale execution of enterprise wide data strategy by applying the standardized Data Management approach aligned to FAIR data principles Minimum requirements What You ll bring to the role: 8+ years experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solution with strong hands on experience in designing and building highly interactive applications using Python/Java/JavaScript/Angular2/NodeJs Proficient in Web Services/API Development using REST, JSON and XML. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, XML, jQuery) Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design, semantic modelling and knowledge on AWS Stack and SPARQL is a big plus Basic understanding of Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes ) is desirable Ability to determine impact of architectural solutions and come up with Recommendations Ability to adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements and learning new systems highly desired.
