CCOR establishes policies and standards that set forth the requirements for the Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions regarding the management of compliance, conduct, and operational risk and enables oversight and independent assessment over compliance, conduct, and operational risks inherent within the firm s activities.CCOR uses the results of risk assessments to identify heightened areas of compliance, conduct, and operational risk to independently monitor the risks and test the effectiveness of controls within the LOBs and Corporate Functions. CCOR informs the firm of compliance, conduct, and operational risk levels and provides associated second line of defense support to all areas of the firm (except Audit). These activities include raising issues for the first line of defense to remediate through action plans and reviewing KRI and KPI thresholds. CCOR leverages a centralized strategy for metrics and dashboard reporting to support these activities. Organization Description The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team within Global Data Risk Management is responsible for independently, holistically, and proactively identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks across the Firmwide Data Management (FDM) Corporate Function. The role will require knowledge of Operational Risk and key risk management skills.Description for Internal Candidates Qualifications:
• At least 6 years of experience with risk management, controls management, or audit required
• Ability to understand risks and their drivers and to form, articulate and explain views. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and direct compliance with the Operational Risk Management agenda, and assess the operational risk impact related to Firmwide Data Management.
• Strong data management practices knowledge in disciplines such as data governance, data protection, data retention, and data destruction.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations, drive change and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to think and act independently.
• Experience in interacting with global partners and senior management across businesses and geographies.
• Must be able to drive improvement opportunities through leadership alignment and execution to an the desired end state
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow with minimal supervision
