Job Description

Position: Salesforce Developer Engineer The Salesforce.com Developer works within the Business Systems Team to support the development or enhancements related to the SHL Salesforce Application. Working with end users from Revenue, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Professional Services as well as other teams within the Digital department, the candidate will be responsible for the administration, customization, and development of applications within the Salesforce.com environment. The candidate will work closely with the business analyst, other developers, and stakeholders to promote enhancements (including the hands-on development of the changes, testing and documentation). The ideal candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. Key Skill Set (Must Have):
1. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or at least one cloud experience
2. Visualforce, Apex Class & Apex Trigger hands-on with minimum 2.5 years experience
3. Lightning Experience OOTB features, Lightning Flow, Lightning Aura Component hands-on with minimum 1 year experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customize Salesforce.com page layouts, object & fields, application & tabs, validation, action buttons and business processes
2. Maintain and create dynamic record page, Process Builder, Flow, workflows, and approval processes within Salesforce.com
3. Do bulk imports and exports of data into Salesforce.com as applicable using Apex data loader or any salesforce supported ETL Tool
4. Maintain data visibility and security via user roles, security, profiles, permission set and other security settings.
5. Integrate AppExchange applications within Salesforce.com ORG as applicable
6. Design and build custom solutions or custom applications using Force.com (All platform features, Apex and Triggers), Lightning Experience, Lightning Builder, Lightning Flow, Lightning Aura Component & Visualforce pages under senior guidance
Qualifications and Technical Experience
1. 3-5 years hands on experience on configuring, customizing, and developing Salesforce.com applications
2. Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer preferred
3. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
4. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with excellent prioritization and organizational skills
5. Bachelor s in computer science or related field
6. Good knowledge of Force.com platform
7. Good working knowledge on Apex, Trigger and Visualforce
8. Experience in Application development, component deployment, and meta data configuration & customization
9. Good knowledge of Eclipse Force.com IDE, Visual Studio Code for code development
10. Ability to communicate ideas and expectations, in particular working in a remote environment
11. Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
12. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with high volumes and tight deadlines; ability to multitask
13. Experience working with MS Teams and Jira preferred for user story and plan tracking
14. Experience working within a team environment with senior guidance and the ability to work autonomously
15. Experience in HTML, JavaScript or any UI based scripting would be an added advantage
16. Experience with Software Development cycle within an Agile/ Scrum model environment
17. Must have experience in Lightning Experience along with Lightning Builder, Lightning Flow, Process Builder and Lightning Aura Component
18. Lightning Web Component would be preferable
