Job Description

    The day to day responsibilities of the DOI Officer (Individual Contributor) will include;Processing system or report driven monitoring alerts for aggregated global positions in accordance with jurisdictional reporting requirements
    • Responsible for analysis of shareholder disclosure obligations, monitoring of holdings across various industry & foreign ownership limits, Short sell reporting, beneficial ownership transparency disclosures, trade approvals & advise to business.
    • Performing impact analysis on the firms shareholdings before finalizing and submission of regulatory reports.
    • Working with large data sets of trade and position information
    • Preparing and submitting regulatory filings (along with transaction & position reconciliations, when applicable)
    • Conducting rule-based data collation & analytics to support timely responses to inquiries
    • Compiling tailor-made holdings reports for business groups and external parties on an ad-hoc basis
    • Providing approval to trade on restricted securities
    • Supporting audit and regulatory requests for information
    • Preparing MIS reports for management on a regular basis
    • Reviewing, implementing & updating control procedures for new products & regulations
    • Assisting with the implementation of new/revised processes and systems
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor and or Graduate Degree
    • 9 years experience in Financial Services Industry inclusive of experience in Compliance
    • Experience in Disclosure of Interest is preferred.
    • Knowledge of equites, Corporate Actions and derivatives products is a plus.
    • Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skillset
    • Proven ability to multi task in a fast paced environment with regulatory deadlines
    • Experience in dealing with large data sets and supporting reconciliations
    • Excellent interpersonal skills required to work effectively with senior management and colleagues in remote locations
    • Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
    • Self-reliant with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
    • Strong problem solving acumen coupled with the ability to recommend and take decisions
    • Strong computer skills especially in Excel
