The Specialist will support various processes within the DLS team, including: process design and strategy sessions; drafting and reviewing employee-facing communications, standard operating procedures, plan documents, program control documents, and policies; ongoing maintenance and review of program materials and documents; monitoring changes to global leave and accommodation laws to ensure compliance of processes and documents; and consulting with stakeholders on complex or high-risk cases. This individual will be an integral team member working with our legal, compliance, business operations, and leadership to manage compliance issues related to all global DLS services.The DLS organization is growing rapidly and will require someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Global Compliance Consultant will need to have the ability to understand and operationalize regulatory obligations, excel at prioritizing their workload, have strong attention to detail, and be able to quickly earn trust across various stakeholders.As the DLS Global Compliance Consultant you will: Be responsible for supporting the Sr. Compliance Consultant with tracking and researching legal and regulatory requirements that impact the DLS program. Own business metrics and processes, aligned with business goals; establish processes for measuring, tracking, and driving continuous improvement of metrics Consult with policy, process, and system owners to ensure content is up to date and accurate. Monitor a standardized, recurring process to review and update global policies and program documents. Partner closely with the Sr. Compliance Consultant to develop ongoing compliance controls for the DLS organization. Must be able to travel 25%, as necessary, Bachelor s degree 2+ years of experience in Compliance, HR, or Legal 2+ years of experience working with absence, leave, disability, return to work, and accommodationsExperience drafting policies, standard operating procedures, internal guidance, and legally-mandated letters Previous experience as compliance specialist, compliance professional, contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department Bilingual or multilingual, with skills to interpret content in either of below languages, besides advanced English language communication skills is highly preferred: Spanish, French, Arabic, Czech, Polish, German, Portuguese.
