Job Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Tour Manager. The responsibilities of the Domestic Tour Manager includes optimizing our India-led travel operations (including domestic journeys and adventure camps) while traveling with the group. He has to take care of all the travel arrangements, recruiting and training tour/journey mentors or travel guides, providing guidance on travel arrangements, doing field audit of accommodation and transport, suggesting and creating new itineraries and preparing budget reports and keeping track of invoicing and cost-sheets for travel.To be a successful tour manager, you should have a strong working knowledge of travel management processes and excellent attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch tour manager is skilled at maintaining positive relationships with airlines and hotels and at providing a smooth travel experience.Tour Manager Responsibilities: Must have travelled with groups as a Tour Manager. Facilitating group activities. Maintaining positive relationships with vendors of direct travel services, such as hotels, and airlines, buses, trains. Planning travel accommodations, booking flights, hotels, bus rentals, and coordinating activities. Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payments, itineraries, visas, medical, and legal forms. Assisting with any travel-related issues that may arise. Preparing travel budget reports. Analyzing and preparing reports on travel spend. Auditing travel services and doing a recon of hotels and campsites. Creating new travel itineraries Hiring and training the tour directors/journey mentors or freelance tour guides to lead our journey programs on field. Assist the Sales team in sales presentations and meetings with the school decision makers.Qualifications A bachelors degree in tourism, travel or hospitality is required for corporate travel managers. A minimum of 3 years experience in the travel industry. A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience may be preferred. Certification in travel or hospitality may be advantageous,
