Email Developer

Job Description

Title: Email Developer Job Location: Hyderabad Job Purpose (Job Summary): The ideal candidate is someone who has a solid background in email production and is looking to gain experience working in a robust Marketing Automation Team responsible for activating and delivering data-driven, personalized client experiences across touchpoints.The Email Developer will work within the automation team s production process to build, update and maintain HTML (& OFT) email templates for US & Canadian client digital marketing programs. The Email Developer will take direction from the email production lead and work closely with automation and journey specialists within the team. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with creative designers to ensure alignment to email design guidelines based on brand and email standard methodologies and Canadian segment marketers to execute their strategies. Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Develop, code and assist the Marketing Automation team with daily US & Canadian campaigns, email being the focus
• Configure multifaceted content elements to build personalized emails at scale
• Ensure quality, consistency enforced at all steps and across all assets, devices, inboxes (Litmus, Email on Acid, Return Path)

Build landing pages using HTML/CSS/JavaScript (front end)

• Develop and lead email design system code library
• Lead all aspects of Quality Assurance

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Good experience in email development
• Experience working with email code. Advanced with HTML, CSS and responsive design, comfortable with HTML for email
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Sketch, comfortable translating design file into functional HTML
• Proficient with email automation platforms, Salesforce & AMP script a plus
• Eye for design, passionate about building UX standard methodologies into every project is a plus
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
• Stay up to date on the newest tools and tactics in email marketing
• Maintain big picture understanding of dependencies within Journeys
• Experience working in an agile environment preferred
