About the Role
The Payment Processing team is looking for an engineering manager who will be responsible for the processing payment collections for all product offerings of Uber across the Globe. This team focuses on providing a high-performant, secure, reliable & resilient ecosystem for seamless payment experience to all our users (riders, drivers, eaters, couriers, restaurants, B2B partners etc) through automated and innovative solutions. The leader will be responsible for payment processing E2E from Mobile (iOS & Android) / Web to backend systems and owns the third party Payment Gateway/Provider integrations.
This is a unique opportunity to build a vision, create an impact delivering next generation payment experience, with choice of payments, across a variety of marketplace products/consumers across Ubers global offerings disrupting the gig economy.
We are looking for an experienced leader who possesses top class leadership experience in building and scaling high performing teams who are responsible for mission-critical, reliable services that support millions of users during their payment experience on a daily basis. You will create vision and build critical cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders and product management. You will be responsible for the business critical impacts delivered.
