Job Description

    Looking for a Full-Time Entertainment Content Writer for a Movie Website. High skill in creative writing and knowledge in Telugu Movies and Celebs is a MUST. Responsibilities - Responsible for ideating, conceptualising, researching and writing Engaging, Creative and Original Telugu Movie Content (News, Feature Articles, Video Content, Movie Stories, Interview scripts, Program concepts & other content on the website) in ENGLISH Responsible for writing, editing and proofreading all the content, and check for errors and inconsistencies Collaborate and coordinate with the content team composed of editors, writers, graphic designers, video editors, photographers, videographers, and other industry professionals Collaborate with the Marketing and Design teams to ideate, generate and develop the site content and assist in producing content for advertising campaigns. Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas and produce best quality content Identifying user needs and recommending novel content to address gaps in the companys current content. Research, analyze and assess the content style and standards of the competitors at local, national and international level, and suggest improvements in content generation Adhere to the editorial and content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content every day, week and month Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative Track web traffic analytics and user engagement metrics to ascertain content engagement levels Generate content to be delivered across all platforms, including the website, email and social media Monitor, Learn, Understand and respond to user-contributed content on the website and all other platforms of V Cinema Stay up-to-date with developments, generate new ideas and produce engaging content to draw users attention Should understand clickable titles and what goes viral on Web and Social Media. Eligibility - Bachelors degree or Diploma in English literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field (or) Proven skills in creative writing. Sound knowledge in Telugu Movies. High proficiency in English and Telugu languages. Possess adequate IQ, EQ, CQ & AQ Excellent and efficient writing and editing skills Proven work experience as a Content Writer or in a similar role A portfolio of published articles Knowledge of Content Management Systems and Social Media Basic technical knowledge and understanding of HTML and web publishing Knowledge of SEO and its guidelines and practices Familiarity with web traffic metrics, engagement metrics and all other general KPIs and KRIs of the website, SEO tools, keyword research tools, etc. (e.g. Google Analytics, Semrush,, Ahrefs, Moz and Google Keyword Planner) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver the content on time.
