Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob Title: Executive/Senior Executive - HRReports to: HR ManagerDepartment: HRThe Executive/Senior Executive HR is responsible for assisting the TL/ Manager in all the HR functions including recruitment, BGV, employee engagement etc. This will involve continuous interaction & follow up with internal and external stakeholders and perform other generic HR functions. Job responsibilities:Following are the job responsibilities:A.Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist the team in fulfilling business hiring requirements, coordinating for the interview and selection process
  • Handle end-to-end onboarding of new hires and thereby handling the file-management
B.Background Verification
  • Proven experience dealing with complete BGV cycle
  • Checking the documents thoroughly at the time of initiation and in case of any primary insufficiency data ,cases need to be highlighted and escalate to the manager
  • Verify basic education, employment, professional qualification, residence, ID, criminal, database check credentials of prospective employees.
  • Follow up with Vendors for verification results on a regular basis and strive to close the cases under defined SLAs
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
C.Employee Engagement
  • Should be well versed with public communication and crowd management to handle the employee engagement activities
  • Prior experience in coordinating and implementing various engagement events such as R&R, CSR Activities, etc.
  • Coordinating for Friday fun activities
  • Assisting in making posters, maintaining trackers
D.Employee Helpdesk
  • Address various employee concerns through HR Helpdesk Tickets. Sound experience in handling HR Helpdesk tool.
  • Should be comfortable working with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and word) to make presentations and prepare all kinds of reports.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when liaising with internal and external parties and communicate in a professional manner.
  • Attentive to details and accuracy
  • Flexible/Adaptable to meet changing needs of the business
E.Separation management
  • Handle the separation cases and ensuring that the necessary exit documentation is completed and filed in the employee records
  • Work with the team on various attrition and separation analysis
F.Other Generic HR Activities
  • Meet all agreed-upon turnaround times for deliverables and deliverable reviews
  • Assisting the team in other HR and L&D activities for smooth functioning
Desired Candidate ProfileJob specifications:
  1. Qualification: Post graduate in MBA (HR)
  2. Experience: A minimum of 2+ years experience in HR operations with hands on BGV, Helpdesk and Employee engagement, etc areas. Experience in service or BPO industry is preferable
  3. Competency:
    1. Domain Knowledge: Sound understanding of HR fundamentals and recruitment life cycle along with excellent interviewing and convincing skills.
    2. Analytical Skills: Independently solves complex problems
    3. Quality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and overall quality of work is as per the requirements specified.
    4. Technical skills: Have excellent MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel skills
    5. Communication: Have excellent spoken and written English skills
    6. Flexibility: Be willing to stretch for long hours and if required should work in weekends
    7. Ethics: Treats people with respect, keeps commitments, and works with integrity.
