Job Description

    Job SummaryAs a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, this role is in consumer & Community Banking, Home & Auto Lending Tech agile development team which forms part of a larger global development group. You will be responsible for all aspects of software development and delivery with a particular focus on high quality maintainable code. You will have the opportunity to work as a part of a feature team covering a broad range of technologies including Java, React, and case management tools such as Pega or Camunda BPM.Job Responsibilities

    • You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

    • This role may also consist of coaching junior developers as well as overseeing applications within our product.
    • You will help the team members build development plans, map their careers, and mentor them on the technologies and tools used within the team.
    • You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Agility Leads to ensure that the application backlog is maintained and prioritized for the team to navigate. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • 7-13 years of experience as Pega developer/architect building enterprise grade solutions, building reusable components, handling Pega upgrades and automated unit testing
    • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through with excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills
    • Hands on experience working on writing SQL queries and performance tuning
    • Experience/ good understanding with toolsets like IntelliJ, SOAPUI, Postman, Blazemeter, Jmeter, Dynatrace, Splunk, JIRA, Bitbucket
    • Understanding of technologies like Kafka, Oauth, OpenID, Single Sign On Implementations
    • Experience of working on projects which deliver automation solutions to operations teams including rolling out improvements to existing processes
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver on operational and/or project objectives to tight deadlines and high expectations, ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Exposure to cloud technologies
