Salesforce Commerce Cloud is looking for strong full stack engineers to design and build rich platform capabilities and features that will help us rapidly grow the adoption of our platform, products and organization. • Brainstorm with UX designers, product managers, and engineering counterparts to conceptualize and design new features and capabilities that will delight our customers
• Make critical design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, security, product quality, fault tolerance and future expansion.
• Participate in architectural initiatives and forums, balancing long-term thinking with short-term customer needs
• Collaborate in a dynamic, multi-geo environment with cross-functional peers to accomplish the team s mission
• Make significant code contributions across different tiers of our platform and product lines whether it be UI or backend as per the needs of our customers
• Keep the business humming by acting as a service owner to ensure we maintain a high operational level of excellence
• Help raise the bar of our engineering standards, practices, processes and collective knowledge in a spirit of continuous improvement
What you should have:
• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science including data structures, algorithms and database concepts
• Experience in system level design & industry best practices across design, testing, documentation, code reviews, service ownership etc
• Extensive programming experience as a full stack engineer and good understanding of SAAS.
• Highly proficient in Java or other object-oriented programming languages ideally suited for backend development
• Front-end development experience in Javascript and modern UI frameworks
• Significant experience writing testable code with an eye towards maintainability
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to take a problem, analyze, design, educate team members on it and work with them to solve the problem with high quality and on time.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• At least 3-4 years of industry software development experience.
• Experience working in scrum/agile development environment.
• B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science from a reputed institute.
