Requires strong hands-on knowledge of all facets of the IC design process and a good understanding of Verilog/SV/UVM/C++ SOC TB environment and should have basics of SOC/IP RTL performance analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with all stakeholders such as lead architects and block design teams to understand features to be implemented and verified. Buildup HWEMU platform for AMD new generation GFXIP verification on top of the cutting-edge hardware acceleration technique (Zebu, Veloce, Palladium) Robust testplan for real workload trace Drive debugs of Performance failures, work with the design and architecture team to correct defects Guide Junior collegues to achieve Performance goals set for the team Make sure AMD next generation GFXIP can meet performance/power/function expectationREQUIREMENTS: Must have a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS degree preferred). Must have minimum 10 years of experienced in ASIC verification. Must be proficient in Verilog and System Verilog language Must be good at C/C++ programming, and working in Linux and Windows environments Must have ASIC design knowledge and be able to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation/emulation tools Must have ASIC design verification experience in test plan, test creation and triage, coverage, and assertion etc. Be proficient in scripting language like Perl, Python Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an excellent attention to detail Must have good English hearing, speaking, reading and writing capabilities Must have leadership, good teamwork and interpersonal skills Must be able to independently drive the set tasks towards closure Graphics pipeline experience is preferred Deep knowledge of computer architecture is preferred Performance Verification Experience at IP or Subsystem or SoC level is required Experience in 3D Graphics or Compute Graphics Benchmark workload analysis is required Experience with Power Estimate tools like PTPX is a plus Shader analysis - experience in kernel debugs Understanding HW/SW interaction & knowing OPENGL/Vulkan APIs is a PlusACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor/Master s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Engineering.
