Job Description

    Developing and implementing quality control procedures: You will be responsible for creatingand implementing quality control procedures to ensure that the products meet thecompanys standards. Developing and implementing the QMS: The Head of QC may work with other departments,such as production, design, customer experience, and sales, to develop and implement theQMS. This may involve creating policies and procedures that document the processesinvolved in quality control, as well as training employees on the QMS. Managing the QC team: You will lead a team of quality control professionals and overseetheir daily activities. You will provide guidance, support, and feedback to help them improvetheir performance. Conducting product inspections: You will be responsible for conducting inspections of thefootwear products to ensure that they meet the companys quality standards. This mayinclude examining product design, materials, workmanship, and performance.Analyzing QC data: You will be responsible for analyzing quality control data to identifytrends and areas for improvement. You will use this information to make data-drivendecisions that will improve the companys product quality. Conducting audits: The Head of QC may conduct internal audits of the QMS to ensure that itis being followed correctly and that the company is meeting its quality objectives. They mayalso work with external auditors to ensure that the company is meeting regulatory and legalrequirements. Collaborating with other departments: To collaborate with other departments, such asdesign, production, and sales, to ensure that quality standards are met throughout theproduct lifecycle. Reporting and analysis: To compile quality control reports and analyze data to identify trendsand opportunities for improvement in quality control processes. Continuous improvement: The Head of QC may be responsible for identifying opportunitiesfor continuous improvement in the QMS. They may work with other departments toimplement changes that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality controlprocesses.
