Job Description

    Job Title: Medical Coder - Inpatient DRG SpecialistLocation: Chennai and HyderabadPosition Overview:We are actively seeking an experienced Medical Coder specializing in Inpatient Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) coding with a minimum of 1 year of dedicated experience. This position is available in both Chennai and Hyderabad locations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately assigning appropriate DRG codes to inpatient medical records, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities:
    • Inpatient DRG Coding

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 1 year of dedicated experience in Inpatient DRG coding.
    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) certification is highly preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
    • Effective communication skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals and team members.
    • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
