Job Description

IntroductionThe infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world s relationship with technology evolves. Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an Architect, you are responsible for creating customized operating system environments using technologies and tools (i.e. MDT, ImageX, CasperSuite). Operating system images range from simple to complex, and may contain heavily customized look and feel, security, application, and hardware support. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.Responsibilities:

  • Designing, Planning, and Implementing a Microsoft SCCM and Intune / Intune Cloud Only
  • Group Policy to Intune Native policy / CSP conversion
  • Bare-metal and in-place Windows 10 deployment/upgrade strategies
  • Active Directory GPO controls and settings (including security settings)
  • Windows Modern management using Intune or Workspace One
  • Patch Management using Windows Update for Business
  • PowerBI Report Design, Development and Management
  • Intune Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance planning
  • Role-Based Administration: Managing custom roles and security scopes
  • PowerShell script development based on customer requirement and deployment using Intune
  • Windows or MAC enrollment and management using Intune
  • Inventory management and customer report development based on customer requirement
  • Encryption and Security component management using Intune or Workspace One
  • Autopilot configuration and management for Windows 10
  • Co-Management using SCCM and Intune for Windows 10
  • Application lifecycle management using Intune (Packaging, Distribution Deployment, Reporting, Retire)
  • Feature upgrade deployment and reporting using Intune
  • Desktop Analytics and Endpoint Analytics implementation and management (Optional)
  • Understanding of Azure Active Directory concepts (Group, User, Dynamic Members
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Expert-level Windows 10 build architecture and deployment experience, including customization and branding of a Windows 10 build.
  • Windows Autopilot deployment experience using Azure/Intune
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, most particularly with Intune and Windows AutoPilot
  • Experience working heavily with various hardware and drivers (Windows OS)
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell and DOS batch file scripting
  • General Networking knowledge (PXE boot setups, DHCP, DNS, VPN, WIFI, etc.) as it relates to Windows 10 deployment methodology
  • Understanding of how Windows 10 servicing works
