Job Description

  • Primary point of contact to support incident, problem, change management, risk, vendor and client relationship, internal and external communications, service delivery, lifecycle management and service evolution
  • Site Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure Development.
  • Support administrative functions required to deliver infrastructure inclusive of planning, tracking, ordering, reporting, and consumption
  • Execute the day to day duties of their function and to define and drive MIS requirements to support and improve the business processes
  • Act as primary customer interface for day to day issues and queries
  • Understand infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems
  • Plan, track and manage the proper use of technology infrastructure to optimize delivery and cost
  • Advocates for customer base when faced with Infrastructure or Business Critical issues
  • Accountable for incident, problem, change management, risk, vendor and client relationship, internal and external communications, service delivery, lifecycle management and service evolution
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Be part of the rotational support coverage as needed
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in both Systems Engineering and Software Development
  • Advanced knowledge in at least one of the infrastructure disciplines and functions:
  • Internals of distributed Operating System (Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019)
  • Windows Clustering.
  • Good knowledge on SAN storage.
  • Experience in system and software security and entitlements (Windows, Kerberos, WindowsAD)
  • Experience in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
  • Experience in Symantec End Point Protection (SEP).
  • Experience in server hardware.
  • Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud)
  • Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization tech stack like Power VM, ESX, cloud)
  • Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the programming languages (PowerShell and Perl)
  • Familiar with Agile development process (Devops, Ansible, JIRA, Jules) and automated testing
  • Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers
  • Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration.
  • Experience in Systems and Application monitoring systems and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in multiple business disciplines/functions
  • Develops a mindset for risk and control compliance to departmental and companywide standards.
  • Prior experience in Resiliency and Business Continuity Planning.
  • Executes within a client centric environment when working with teams and contributors.
