You ll work in a stable, resilient and secure operating environment where you and the products you deliver will thrive.JOB DescriptionAs a member of our Infrastructure Support and Site Reliability Engineering group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate to solving business problems through innovation and modern engineering practices. Youll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of Infrastructure Support and Software Development Lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture including distributed servers, storage, network, database and application components.
• Extensive knowledge in administering, troubleshooting & upgrading IBM AIX and Virtual I/O Severs (VIOS).
• Expertise in administering IBM Power Systems and Hardware Management Console (HMC) including Firmware/Microcode upgrades.
• Ability to work with external Vendors such as IBM to coordinate Hardware Replacements and to troubleshoot issues.
• Expertise in IBM Power HA/System Mirror/RSCT/Cluster technologies.
• Expertise in IBM Spectrum Scale/GPFS Implementation and Administration.
• Working proficiency in Incident/Problem/Change management process and procedures
• Able to troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
• Ability to host/participate in bridge calls and communicate effectively to large group of individuals at all levels.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, automation tools and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Demonstrate ability to work independently with strong ownership & communication skills
• Knowledge in Site Reliability Engineering - Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work
• Knowledge of at least one scripting languages such as shell, python, ansible.
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement will be an added advantage.
• Experience with continuous integration/development toolkits like GIT/Bit-bucket/Jenkins
• Exposure/competence with Agile Development approach
