Building on Azure s success as a horizontal platform, the Microsoft Cloud for Industry team is bringing together the best that Microsoft Cloud has to offer and build and ship industry clouds, such as the Microsoft Cloud for Agriculture, Retail, Financial Services, Sustainability and so on.We are the Agriculture Industry team of Microsoft Cloud for Industries and are building the next generation of services and platforms that empower analysts, agronomists, and data scientists to ingest, extract, transform and analyze planet scale geospatial, temporal and static data from various sources (satellites, drones, weather, sensors, farm equipment etc.) and build a Software as a Service (SaaS) layer from the ground up.We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the development of critical features and applications from scratch. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a passion for building great end to end innovative solutions with delightful user experiences by leveraging modern front-end and cloud-native full-stack application development.You should have a proven track record of being a proficient technical contributor who has owned feature areas across multiple releases. Experience with Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Power Apps platform is a strong plus.Lead and provide technical direction for the design and development of features, experiences & solutions for end-to-end business scenarios over the full stack.Design and build modern web applications with focus on accessibilityCollaborate with UX Designers, product managers, team members, customers, and platform engineering teams to solve complex problems for enterprise class business applicationsAccountable for the quality, usability & performance of customer-centric featuresDebug and handle live site and customer reported issuesEffectively leverage data to guide analysis and decision makingMentor junior team members to realize their full potential, Required Qualifications:Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science or related field.7+ years of experience in software development (C#, Java, ASP.NET, REST, SQL)4+ years of experience in developing web applications with React/Angular, Typescript, HTML & CSSStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model4+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies and unit testing practices2+ years of experience and skills in building cloud-based SaaS applicationsA passion for improving engineering practices and producing high quality softwareSolid CS fundamentals and strong inclination for architecting at scalePreferred Qualifications:Passion and experience for building great user experiencesExperience developing with Azure or other public cloud servicesExperience with Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), PowerApps, Dynamics 365 CE or other CRM/ERP products a big plusExcellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skillsGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
