Job Description

*

  • Quality control maintenance.
  • Evaluate and select reference laboratory for performance of tests not done in the institutional lab.
  • Manpower planning, Recruiting and organizing.
  • New test additions and development, to meet the needs of the clinicians.
  • Update on methodologies, evaluate newer technologies.
  • Materials (equipments, spares, consumable) planning.
  • Preventive maintenance, direction and follow up.
  • Liaison with user departments.
  • Complaints handling.
  • Encourage teamwork.
  • To handle any other job assigned from time to time.
  • To participate and contribute to the department quality initiatives.
  • To be aware of department performance and objective
  • To carry out data collection /support in data collection
  • To adhere to the safety norms of the hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
  • Budgetary planning in accordance with institutional needs and resources.
  • To conduct continuous training and education programs for Laboratory staffs.
