Job Description

Learning & Development handles the global learning, leadership development, performance and talent management functions of Invesco. This role requires a combination of strong administrative, analytical and program management skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:Training Administration (~50%):

  • Support routine administration of global Learning & Development training courses including, but not limited to vendor communication, global training scheduling, room booking, participant communications, pre-work and material coordination, contract management, data entry and management of training offerings in the Learning Management System (LMS), and online learning support
  • Support Learning & Development programs as producer for live web-based virtual learning offerings, in support of facilitator
Monthly Induction(~10%):
  • Plan, organize and execute monthly Induction sessions
  • Send invitations to the key partners and incorporate any changes to the schedule
  • Maintain trackers for attendance and keep it up to date
Training Promotional Activities (~20%):
  • Promote Learning & Development programs/artefacts/resources as necessary through various channels of communication.
  • Be a learning champion, responsible to promote learning hub (Degreed) proactively
  • Be the central point of contact for Hyderabad and APAC online learning users
  • Identify innovative and creative ways to promote continuous learning and increase the uptake of learning solutions/programs Online/offline/virtual/face to face.
Reporting and Analysis (~10%):
  • Collect, record, and maintain participant training records
  • Run reports from LMS and PeopleSoft on Talent and Learning & Development activities including monthly, quarterly and annual tracking documents; metrics reporting; and analysis of various data trends
  • Provide analysis on course evaluation data, including Level 1 and 3 evaluations, summarizing and making recommendations to maximize impact and efficiencies
  • Analyze operational processes and recommend process improvements that enhance productivity (demonstrate digital tools when available and appropriate)
General Administrative Support (~10%):
  • Monitor Learning & Development inbox and appropriately handle general inquiries
  • Liaise with and provide back-up support to other L&D Coordinators for Learning & Development program management, broad-based data management and reporting, and general coverage of L&D administration activities
  • Make recommendations that champion administrative efficiencies
  • Help produce communications or training materials as needed to include light design of job aids or internal presentations
  • Assist in the management of updates and content for intranet pages owned by Learning & Development
  • May direct outsourced vendor in project/administrative initiatives
WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
  • 6+ years general work experience in operations or administrative support.
  • 2-3 years direct experience demonstrating excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience in shared services supporting disbursed stakeholders, global administration/operations support, process improvement, HR, Learning or Talent Management preferred.
FORMAL EDUCATION:Bachelor s degree and/or relevant degree in a field related to Administration, Organization Development, Learning, HR, Management (or equivalent academic or vocational qualification) preferred.   • Able to create presentations, proposals, templates, agendas targeted to all levels of the organization
  • Strong ability to adjust messages to the needs and interests of varying audiences
  • Excellent self-proofing skills to assure accuracy and high-quality results
  • Undertake any junior staff development needs conversations with key stakeholders
Analysis:
  • Able to analyze operational processes and recommend process improvements that enhance productivity (leverage digital tools when available and appropriate)
  • Able to organize and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
Project and Program Management:
  • Able to handle global and local projects from beginning to end in order to meet and exceed client and project expectations
  • Has a detailed orientation and can anticipate necessary tasks, identify potential risks and develop work plans/strategies to address each
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to work on multiple and assorted assignments; must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task assorted tasks daily
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word , Excel , PowerPoint , Outlook , SharePoint ) with the ability to create professional presentations, documents and graphs; intermediate-level Excel skills (including experience using pivot tables, charts and VLOOKUPs) advanced Excel skills helpful
  • Comfortable and curious to learn new technologies and look for ways to automate and streamline processes
  • Exposure to automated service request or workflow tool preferred (e.g. Service Now)
  • Experience using virtual meeting tool (e.g. WebEx, Zoom, Level 3, Adobe Connect, etc.) and handling/producing virtual sessions helpful
  • Preferred: Human Resource and Learning Management Systems to process and research transactions, handle data and create/run reports helpful
  • Preferred: working knowledge of web-based technologies (such as Photoshop , Captivate , Brainshark , etc.) that facilitate the creation of intranet web pages and online training useful
