Job Description

Main Purpose

  • Provide advanced analytics support for Beyond the Bottle businesses; as part of the broader Global Business Services function in Hyderabad, India.
  • This role will help to enable accelerated growth for PepsiCo by proactively designing data acquisition strategies, structuring/integrating data sources, performing predictive and prescriptive analytics approaches to drive actionable insights at a PepsiCo, operator, customer and consumer level.

Accountabilities Functional Responsibilities

  • Support Beyond the Bottle team with delivery of insights
  • Develop, maintain, and apply statistical models to business questions - including forecasting, mix, price elasticitiy, drivers analysis, etc
  • Clean and prepare data for use in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning projects
  • Work within Microsoft clould and analytics environment (e.g., Microsoft Azure, PowerBI etc.)
  • Connect dashboards to business uses cases and work closely with partners to design and build newer capabilities o Develop excellent understanding of BTB business to assure newer analytics capabilities can be prescribed
  • Execute predictive and prescriptive analytics with an emphasis on actionable insights
  • Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-up questions with required with analysis/tables/charts o Create dynamic visualizations for on-going monitoring and analytical insights Support relationships with the key end-user stakeholders in PepsiCo US HQ and region offices
  • Responsible for managing multiple priorities; being able to manage deadlines and deliverables
  • Improve existing processes based on frequent business partner feedback loop o Own flawless execution of analytics exercises
  • Deliver outputs in line with the agreed timelines and formats while updating existing project management tools
  • Flag and monitor any business risks related to delivering the requested outputs

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required

  • An analytics professional with 5years professional experience Education: MA/MS/PhD in economics, math, statistics, engineering Good with concepts of programming and coding High degree of familiarity with CPG and Food Beverage industry data sources, including Nielsen/IRi, GlobalData, Kantar Worldpanel, etc.
  • Good with concepts of data science and machine learning Proficient with Power Point and Excel
  • Experience with Agile development methods, SQL, Python and Power BI Strong collaborator: Interested and motivated by working with others.
  • Actively creates and participates in opportunities to co-create solutions. Operational experience from business servicing sector and/or consulting experience would be a plus Language: English Fluent
  • Differentiating Competencies Required Essential: Strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect data and form insights Depth and breadth of syndicated data analytics and statistical modeling Solution-oriented approach to problem solving
  • High degree of organizational savvy Complete understanding of internal external data sources to aid analysis and insights.
