Job Description

    Build and Release Manager As a manager Build and Release Engineering, you will apply your knowledge of management, software methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to develop and deliver all aspects of a continuous integration and deployment pipeline and support, across multiple product lines, the release of quality software products, on budget, with in planned schedule with superb quality.At IVY, you will be reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager or Program Manager. You will be part of mobile application development focused group working across sports and gaming domains. Our goal is to develop mobile applications that are best in their category. Realize your ambitions, transform your ideas into tangible outcomes, and become part of an organization where every individuals voice counts, and every difference contributes to the creation of an exceptional experience.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be:Planning release windows and cycles of multiple mobile applications and frameworksManaging, planning, and negotiating release activitiesManaging risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedulesCommunicating crucial release plans and changesCoordinating processes between different teams (possibly in various locations)Communicating necessary release details to products and business teamsProducing deployment, implementation, and run books plansConducting release readiness and milestone reviewsWorking with release engineers to comprehend code merges and branch ramificationsManage deliverables to the test environment particularly guaranteeing that the external dependent items are available during the test runtimeManage submission and releases of mobile applications to Apple AppStore and Google PlaystoreCoordinate with application reviewers in Appstore and Playstore for timely approvalsOwn and manage mobile application DevOps team to enable continuous delivery of complex mobile applications of varying size and durationBuild Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment software tools that will support, enhance and grow Mobile applications teams CI/CD capabilitiesWork with operations teams for continuous monitoring of production applicationsDemonstrate very strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of mobile application development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolutionSkills and QualificationBachelor s Degree in computer science or similar discipline. PMP certification or similar is nice to have.8 12 years of experience, with last 2 4 years in build and release managementExpert in software development lifecycle including Requirements and Functional definition, Design, Development, Qaulity testing, Beta and Release trainsExperience with mobile applications submission process in Apple Appstore and Google PlaystoreExperience working with Jenkins or other build automation toolsExperience with GIT (or similar) branching and merging strategiesExperience with the Agile Software Development methodologyGreat Inter-personal skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly,
