Job Description1 Job Title Manager Validation, Homologation && Program Management2 Responsibilities, role, task && duties of positionThis is a multifaceted lead Role, wherein the incumbent would be responsible and accountable for the Vehicle Homologation (New && Upkeep of the current certifications). Vehicle Validation Rig as well as physical trials. Program Management Program Management of the product portfolio Bus && Chassis.Thus, the incumbent must be conversant with the following Homologation1. Homologation process for domestic markets specially for Electric Vehicles.2. Complete planning of vehicle certification activities for all base and variant models with respect to Components, systems && whole Vehicle3. Good knowledge of EV Buses and Powertrain components like batteries, motor, controller etc.4. Coordination with internal and external teams to obtain the certification approvals within timelines.5. Developing necessary contacts for regular exchange of regulatoryinformation.6. Keep track of certifications of Vehicles/Systems && Components7. Ensures timely distribution of all respective legal technical documents for compliances.8. Study various engineering changes, impact analysis, budgeting &&planning of testing && homologation.9. Prepares regular reporting to superiors. Adhere to departmentalprocess and guidelines. Upkeep of all documentation, report &&certificates in soft form and in physical form.Validation1. To be conversant in preparing and planning DVPs Vehicle level &&Component level.2. Conversant with the test procedures.3. Showcase frugal approaches towards the product verification and validation.4. Developing necessary contacts at the test agencies pan India.5. Timely MIS Dashboard for Management reviews.Program Management1. Have a complete tab on the adherence of the bus production plan.2. Facilitate the progress by timely escalating the issues.3. Interface between engineering and other internal teams.4. Active involvement and participation towards vehicle / Critical parts localization by Liasioning /harnessing the internal CoEs expertise.3 EducationalQualification,experience,skills &&knowledgeEducation: BE / B.Tech / Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial Production. Experience: 10-15 years in vehicle validation in commercial vehicle industry. Skills and Knowledge: Good Interpersonal and Communication skills. Knowledge of the CMVR Standards EV Vehicle. To be well conversant with the Homologation/Validation Centres. Knowledge of DVP preparation, Rig tests as well as vehicle level tests. Program Management Skills Proven Record.4 Competencies && cultural requirementsHigh team work capabilities. Able to share new ideas and provide technical solutions. Minimum of 10 years of eolexperience in automotive developing projects (Bus/Truck), experiences in different automotive companies will be highly valued. High analytical and creative skills. All round experience with the ability to react quickly and efficiently. Confident, with the ability to convince through technical arguments. Good communication skills (able to explain technical information and requirements). Strong Knowledge of Homologation and Certification of Indian Regulation,commercial vehicle certification process knowledge will be addedadvantage. Experience in Validation Commercial vehicle will be advantage. Experience in electric vehicles will be an added advantage. Exposure to Cross-functional and multi-cultural working environment. Good Team Player and comfortable to work in Plant environment
