Job Description

    Job summaryThis is a role for VISA (VAT International Services on Amazon) team. VISA is one of the fast expanding programs within Amazon and is envisioned to grow in to complete Compliance program. In this role, you have to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and passion for data, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be on ground interacting with our Seller partners (SPs) and managing a team of account representatives who are helping SPs to get VAT Registration and filling process. Its a big ask, and were excited to talk to those up to the challenge! This position is chartered with developing and managing VISA sales/onboarding pipeline, mix of high value accounts while executing sales strategies to deliver results that will exceed aggressive output goals. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior management teams of existing accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.Key job responsibilities
    • Engaging Sellers over call and email to nudge them to adopt VAT services on Amazon and support them during adoption.
    • Managing team of account representative and driving their performance metrics, defining goals & career growth.
    • Designing and implementing self-service reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
    • Re-actively and proactively developing and executing strategic analyses that provide important insight into the business
    • Monitoring existing metrics and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
    • SQL Knowledge is preferred. Retrieving and analyzing data using SQL, Excel, and other data management systems
    A day in the lifeThe role supports one of the critical functions, but not limited to, VISA registration program. In this, you will need to work with cross functional teams varying from program, product, marketing and tech to build strategies driving the adoption and conversion for VISA registered sellers from EU and Global Arcs i.e US>EU, IN>EU etc.About the teamVAT Services on Amazon is a VAT compliance solution that allows Selling partners to manage their VAT registration and filing obligations online through Amazon Seller Central. It enables Selling Partners to spend more time expanding their business across Europe by handling VAT compliance more easily, timely and efficiently.We work with different tax partners who verify and coordinate with tax authority to get the VAT registration number.,
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline.
    • 3+ years of experience in Sales/Account management role is required with 1+ year of people management,
    • Zeal to call sellers who are the backbone of Amazons business and support them during on-boarding into the program
    • SQL Knowledge and Hands-on experience is a must. Demonstrated Analytical ability, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
    • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with E-Commerce, Retail and Business Analytics would be an advantage.
    • Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling concept and building new DW tables
    • Basic SQL skills, R and/or Python, advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications.
