This is a team management role reporting to Senior Manager of the BT APAC Flex Team and is responsible for ensuring flexible capacity for internal and external Salesforce initiatives with a focus on trust, growth, innovation, and equality.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in managing functional and technical teams, and helping in defining, implementing, and influencing growth strategy. This key role will help build, develop, and deliver high value product management and engineering talent for global initiatives, with a concerted focus on nurturing our Salesforce culture. Responsibilities:
• Hire, develop, and cultivate amazing people and teams
• Design and manager an efficient resource management process (demand fulfillment, ramp-up/ramp-down, forecasting, up-skilling/cross-skilling)
• Collaborate and proactively engage with Program Management and Delivery teams to understand capacity needs and project prioritization
• Develop on-boarding and training plans to broaden technical and domain skills across the team
• Vigilantly focus on stakeholder success.
• Lead decision-making and collaboration across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.
• Delivery effective reporting on flex capacity management - data analysis i.e. reporting around all demands, status in terms of fulfillment, challenges if any.
• Lead operational excellence and suggest/implement improvements in the way flexible capacity is managed across projects.
• Work closely with the management & recruitment team and enable them to create resource pipeline for any ad hoc or planned ramp ups in projects.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge to of Salesforces business, products, and IT application portfolio
• Maintain and lead awareness of industry best practices and relevant technologies.
Required Skills/Experience
• Overall 12yrs experience in IT and 5 years relevant (People/Project Management) experience including but not limited to:
  • Managing global teams, including project resourcing
  • Managing vendor partners and teams extended with contractors
  • Experience building a team of skilled professionals with different levels of experience
  • Experience working with multiple delivery managers on capacity planning and deployment
  • Proficiency in spectrum of delivery methods (Agile > hybrid > waterfall)
  • Hiring, managing and developing people.
  • Leading innovation
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong people management skills including hiring and developing high-performance teams.
• Ability to oversee multiple complex project resource needs in parallel
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Exemplifies Salesforce spirit demonstrating key traits such as trust, integrity, character, and compassion
