Job Description

    Key Responsibilities Handling project/ task/ activity test execution based on the provided test cases and input fromplanning/ solution/ UAT teams Providing daily test execution report for the task/ project/ activity allocated Handling test case automation using different approaches and tools matching the current practicein QA for test automation Handling performance and stress testing Handling functional/ non-functional/ UI testing Handling test case (business/ technical/ performance/ integration) preparation based on theprovided requirements/ solution/ input Handling/ managing/ maintaining test environments Supporting UAT testing in term of defect analysis/ data preparation Restrict to the SLA/ timing provided for the task Provide high quality work for the assigned task Follow all the rules and responsibilities Follow up with development teams/ project manager for the raised defects Must be familiar with all the tools used in QA. Handling regression Defects analysisCompetencies (required as part of this role)Technical skills requiredPrimary Testing experience in telecom BSS application testing. Experience in IBM RQM/ RTC Very good knowledge in RDBMS such as Oracle, MYSQL. Good hands-on skills in SQL, PL/SQL Experience in test automation tools is an added advantage. Possess relevant certifications to complement experience. Good knowledge of Unix commands and shell scriptsKey DeliverablesCreate required test data in advance for the procedure of testing Organize the necessary test beds of hardware, software, and network. Report the Defects to all relevant stakeholders Publish the test results along with work arounds and open defects.
