  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : 1 Should have 5-7 years of experience in SQL server administration on the migration of SQL servers in Azure and should have knowledge on SQL azure and Azure IaaS concepts 2 Installation and upgrades of SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014/2016 on Standalone and cluster installations 3 Post Installation Configurations Like empdb files, SQL Memory, Enabling AWE, Lock pages in memory and configuring the Maintenance jobs etc 4 Applying the SQL Service Packs on All Versions to fix Bugs
      • Technical Experience : 1 Applying the Hotfixes and Rebooting the Machines 2Creating the scripts for backup, restore, indexing and views 3 Upgrade and Migrations is done from lower versions to higher versions 4 Maintaining the Database Consistency with DBCC commands CHECKDB,SHOWCONTIG,SHRINKDB,INDEXDFRAG etc at regular intervals 4 Creation of LOGINS, ROLES and granting rights, Assigning Permissions and Mapping user databases 6 Monitoring SQL SERVER Performance using profiler
