Job Description- level 3s(Middleware Specialist)Base DescriptionDIMENSION & SCOPE Delivery of superior Technical Services. Responsible for implementation, configuration, planning, problem analysis, security, performance and tuning of Cloud Middleware Technical Infrastructures. Provide Technical Consultation to Business and Resource Units on Cloud Middleware to ensure optimal performance associated with the Hardware, Application, Database and Operating System Environments.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide installation, configuration and support for On-Prem and Cloud Middleware Applications and other 3rd Party Vendor Software, including authentication, authorization and federation for SSO interface capabilities.
• Azure B2C administration including User Flow Attribute, IEF Policy and Keyset Administration.
• Creating or editing B2C user flows, can change the html/CSS/javascript content of the user experience, change MFA requirements per user flow, change claims in the token and adjust session settings for all policies in the tenant.
• Azure ad user and enterprise applications Administration.
• Mysql database Azure or on-prem administration.
• Monitor and manage Application performance.
• Provide direction, installation and support of Enterprise System Management including escalation and system performance of Production platforms.
• Function as third-tier support for all Middleware Applications, with escalation to Vendor for Software issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain plan to ensure successful recovery of Cloud Middleware Application Environments in the event of a disaster according to Corporate Disaster Recovery Policy.
• Provide technology assessments in support of automation and technology migration initiatives.
• Recommend improvements; manage/maintain Production and non-Production Systems to ensure infrastructure performs at maximum efficiency.
• In addition, the Candidate will be responsible for creating applicable Support Documentation and Processes.
• Implement/maintain Corporate Data Security and Compliance guidelines as directed.
• Provide on-call technical support as required.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

• BA Degree in IT field and three years relevant experience OR
• Master s Degree in related technical discipline and minimum one-year relevant experience OR
• Six years relevant experience without College Degree.
• Professional Certifications such as MCSE Cloud Platforms, ForgeRock Administrator, J2EE Administrator, etc. are a plus but not mandatory.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Average oral and written communication skills.
• Clear understanding of Team s role in meeting Departmental objectives.
• Average Business knowledge and average Project Management skills.
• Moderate knowledge on cloud computing.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision on a medium sized Project.
• Ability to direct local Middleware Support personnel on day-to-day operational tasks.
• Average problem solving and analytical skills.
• Incumbents at this level should be fully familiar with all aspects of Information Technologies including: Hardware, Operating Systems, Network protocols, Clustering, Load-balancing, High Availability, Cloud Software, IAM, SSO, DB etc.

• The successful Candidate will be able to:
  • Install & configure Cloud Middleware Application Environments.
  • Monitor the health of these Environments.
  • Perform Application Code migrations through the various Environments as needed.
  • Perform Root Cause troubleshooting / analysis of Application issues.
  • Install required patches.
  • Assist with performance Stress Testing / Tuning.
  • Create Custom policies and integrate SSO using B2C.
• The Candidate should also have average skills working on the following:
  • SUSE Linux 12.x/15.x Platforms OR
  • Windows 2008/2012/2016 Platforms
  • Powershell scripting or Azure CLI
• Average Presentation skills and working experience with Office productivity tools such as OS365, Skype, Word, Excel, Project, and Visual Source Code, Git, Visio would be a plus.
• It is desirable that the Candidate be able to learn and gain proficiency in new Technologies quickly as well as be able to work independently towards well defined goals.
• Required Skills:
  • J2EE Cloud Middleware Application experience (JBoss, WebLogic, Websphere, Tomcat, etc.)
  • Cloud SSO authentication, authorization, federation experience (Azure, ForgeRock, etc.)
  • Web/App Server Software experience on Windows Platforms (IIS 8.x/10.x) AND/OR
  • Web/App Server Software experience on Unix/Linux Platforms (WLS, Apache, IPlanet, Nginx)
• Supplemental Skill s:
  • Familiarity with LDAP, XML, JSON, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP.net, HTML, SMTP, MySQL, RESTful API, SAML and OpenID+Oauth2
