This individual will lead a small team of control assurance analysts to perform risk and control assessment activities. These members will report into Head of Global Cybersecurity Control Assurance, who will be hired to manage the control assurance program.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and improve methodology around monitoring and measuring threat risks that aligns to the NIST CSF frameworkEnsure that the risk and control assurance activities are delivered accurately and timely, in line with the State Street framework and methodology.Assist in monthly reporting on the status and outcomes of controls assurance activitiesRe-enforce an inherent culture of accountability and ownership for implementation and execution of controls across all levels and functions within the Global Cybersecurity organizationBuild strong relationships with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to drive risk excellenceDiscuss and validate potential control gaps, control design and operating effectiveness with control ownersWork in conjunction across First Line Risk as well as business partners and external parties as needed to resolve issues and ensure accuracy of accountabilities, and adherence to all policies/regulations/guidelinesManage a team of 3 or more controls assurance analyst and be responsible for their training, coaching and career development.Maintain adequate records and evidence of risk and control assurance activities completedCore Skills / Non- NegotiableAt least 5 years of prior experience in risk management/audit team with knowledge of Archer control inventory or other similar systemsMinimum 3 years of experience working in Information Security or general IT areas related to risk management, controls assurance, compliance programs, cybersecurity and information security regulations, industry standards, and internal policies frameworks.Experience in creating process flows, identifying controls, creating management information in PowerPoint decksPrior experience with innovative thinking and process improvementAbility to independently work with stakeholders to deliver resultsExperience interacting with various multi-disciplinary teams of professionalsTransferable SkillsPMP Certification is a plus in this roleStrong time management skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrior knowledge of SS control assessment framework a plusExperience working in the Financial industry preferred, but not required,
