    Senior Solutions Architect - Public SectorPosting Location : Location GB-RemotePosting date 5 days agoCategory PreSales, Solution Architecture About the job The Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide the growth and development ofRed Hat s business in our UK team.In this role you will be the technical sales leader for your accounts within the Public Sector. You will create possibilities, solve problemsand establish trusted relationships with our customers. You will collaborate with the Sales, Customer Success,and Partner Ecosystem teams to discover the customer s business and technical objectives and help theminvest in the right solutions from the Red Hat and Partner Ecosystem portfolio.You ll be expected to handle a range of customer conversations, from introductory discussions on our solutionsto mapping architectural and technical details specific to the customer s environment. As the Account SolutionArchitect, you will coordinate the efforts of other Red Hat technical staff to design solutions and ensurecustomer adoption and satisfaction. You ll need to have excellent communication skills, as youll be a crucialpart of the first impression our customers have with Red Hat. . Finally, you ll want to have a passionfor open source, and a balance of technical expertise with business acumen. What you will do
    • Gain an in-depth understanding of our customers business goals, technical objectives and ITenvironments.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Partner Ecosystem teams to assess the potentialapplication of Red Hat and Partner solutions.
    • Provide pre-sales technical leadership for the development and implementation of complex solutionsand services.
    • Develop strategic relationships with our customers to become a trusted advisor.
    • Deliver proof of value to our customers and partners through presentations, demonstrations, workshopsand pilot projects.
    • Research and write the responses to technical sections of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
    • Coordinate the technical efforts of other Red Hat resources like Product Specialists, Support andProfessional Services.
    • Deliver compelling recommendations that result in the closing of new sales.
    • Own and meet a bookings quota and perform regular reviews and reports about the opportunities youare working on.
    • Share your expertise by contributing to documentation (e.g., wikis, quick-start guides, blog posts andwhite papers), developing reusable assets (e.g., demonstrations, workshops) and presenting atconferences and industry events.
    What you will bring
    • Pre-sales, consulting, IT architecture or equivalent experience in support of enterprise accounts.Integration, development, or administration experience with UNIX and Linux systems.
    • Skilled in presenting to small and large groups of mixed audiences, including business, technical,management and leadership teams.
    • Experienced in developing relationships at engineering, commercial and executive levels throughoutlarge enterprise IT organizations.
    • Experienced with modern and emerging technologies including public and private cloud, containerorchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps and CI/CD, andmodern application frameworks.
    • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
    • Collaboration with others and the ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel within the region.
