Job Description

    Job DescriptionResponsible for leading the plant towards operational excellence by directing and managing overall operations of the plant to meet/exceed QCDGP defined targets, plant profitability as per plan and ensure the safety and health of employees.Role & responsibilities
    • Formulating manufacturing footprints and non-financial budget for efficient functioning of the plant
    • Ensuring the availability of budgeted and allocated resources for various departments at right time to facilitate the achievement of set goals in the business plan and plant key performance indicators
    • Ensuring customer quality and delivery requirements of multi-product and larger product base of domestic customers
    • Adherence & ensure Compliance to Safety, EMS/EHS/OHSAS, MSES, IATF, AHQC, B2B Standards & Procedures Requirements
    • Implementing TPM activities to ensure optimum inventory levels in order to achieve planned OEE targets
    • Coordinating with the Head Office and / other departments to ensure seamless resolution of Raw Material supply/Supplier development/new product launch/warranty and customer issues, etc for smooth working .
    • Handling plant related HR and administration legal activities for efficient working of the plant
    • Developing an empowered and motivated workforce by driving the implementation of the OE model, training and development and ensuring employee involvement in terms of Quality, Productivity & Cost to the customer and developing a management team to increase the performance of the plant
    • Fulling corporate social responsibilities in line with guidelines from Head Office
    • Managing the overall development of team members through effective and need-based training and controlling attrition
    • Coordinating with the governmental organisations to ensure all statutory requirements
    Preferred candidate profileCandidate- * BE/B. Tech (Mechanical), MBA in Operations with 15-20 years of experience in Auto components manufacturing sector preferably in machining & assembly functions.
    • Should have plant lead position in current organisation for 5 yearswith overall responsibilities of plant.Special Skills -Product and process knowledge and team management skills, productivity and Lean concepts, Finance acumen, Communication skills, interpersonal skills, Decision making,delegation, accountability and problem-solving skills.
