Your team works with engineers, data scientists, other product and program managers, and subject matter experts across Microsoft. The goal is to understand end-to-end game development scenarios typically faced by our customers and play a central role in bringing more games and game developers to Azure and Xbox.Your primary responsibility is to lead an IDC-based team of product managers and partner with product management and development in other regions to deliver better cloud experiences for game developers. You will be part of a motivated, inclusive, and collaborative global team that prioritizes healthy team culture while achieving customer success. A successful candidate will actively unblock the team, find creative ways to partner across the organization, grow individuals within the team, and attract new talent. You should be energetic, self-sufficient and have a knack of communicating succinctly and efficiently with different audiences.#GEOJobs,
• Builder and leader of product and program Management teams. Particularly managers who personally commit to deliver success through empowerment and accountability through modeling culture values, coaching others and caring.
• 15+ years of experience in program management, product management, or a related discipline.
• Track record of working with globally distributed teams.
• Technical understanding of cloud architecture and development technologies.
Additional Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in game development and cloud development.
• Strategic thinking in ambiguous and agile situations.
• Ability to drive product success with customer empathy.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines and groups.
• Prior experience designing and developing public cloud services at scale, including cost optimization.
• Track record of making solid business and engineering tradeoffs to deliver business value.
• Excellent cross-group collaboration skills you will collaborate across the company and disciplines with design, program management, and business teams.
