Product Expert (Equivalent to Product Owner)

Job Description

Responsible for helping to deliver the vision and roadmap for the Enterprise Portfolio Product, you will work closely with the business solutions team to manage the requirements through to delivery. The requirement will come from stakeholders across multiple functions. The Enterprise Portfolio Product based on the voice and priorities of the customers.You will also be responsible for ensuring the product is compliant, well documented and well represented to the rest of the company. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure that the new requirements are understood by the various user groups.This an opportunity to work with a team who are building a product that will have a huge impact on Novartis. You will influence on the delivery of products and drive user adoption through UX. You will have the autonomy to make decisions related to the product in line with our unbossed culture. Collaborating with a dynamic distributed team, you will play a major part in delivering new solutions for Novartis.Major Accountabilities: Contribute to the development and implementation of the organizations overall IT strategy and drive implementation. Identifying potential gaps in design based on your intimate knowledge of the product and ensure a user centric approach Work with IT Innovation and Project Portfolio Management organizations to identify and create business opportunities. Led on various features as a product representative to support the design of new features ensuring we have considered the end to end impact. Support on the development of business cases for strategic initiatives. Contribute to maintaining alignment of IT roadmap / strategies, business and functional demand and investment plans. Work with the development team to ensure that features are developed in a scalable manner. Coordination of ceremonies with the business and development team. Define best practices and standards for product delivery Ensure that the product features are well documented and tested. Work with operations to ensure that new features are communicated and understood. At least 5 years of experience with the high focus on Product Management or related discipline Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to influence people without the direct authority Knowledge of Agile & Agile toolset; Scrum Knowledge Business Analysis experience and outstanding communication skills across global teams Proven experience in EPMO/PM/Portfolio Management, preferably within IT or closely aligned with ITWHY NOVARTIS 769 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2020, and while we re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people s lives.We believe new insights, perspectives and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
