Job Opening Details back to list Reference Code: YR519 Job Title: Programmer Analyst Lead Category: General Summary Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system. The responsibilities of this role include: Working under some supervision. Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.Principal Duties & Responsibilities Owns a piece of a software module, and determines appropriate modifications, enhancements, and future approaches. Unit tests project code to verify the stability and functionality of features. Completes more complex coding tasks without significant errors or bugs, develops and evaluates design specifications, and assigns coding tasks to project team members. Manages project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with minimal supervision. Resolves complex software issues and bugs. Communicates with project lead via email and direct conversation to make recommendations about overcoming impending obstacles. Adapts to significant changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines independently. Writes code for large features or significant bug fixes to support collaboration with other engineers. Gathers, integrates, and interprets information from a variety of sources in order to troubleshoot issues and find solutions. Serves as a technical lead on a sub system or small feature, and works on advanced tasks to complete a project. Performs code reviews on project teams submitted solutions. Participates in the development, documentation, maintenance, and auditing of IT processes and procedures. Programming Certifications such as Java, C++, CSSLP, Scrum, etc. Python, OPLUS, COGNOS, TABLEAUPhysical Requirements Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to mile. Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs. Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting). Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
