Job Description

    Manage IT infra that includes end users workstations, desktops, laptops and server, storage, High Performance Computing cluster units from various OEMs with Windows primarily, but other flavours of Unix operating systemsManage overall solution & service delivery for prioritized projects, rollouts, enhancements and break-fixesManage underlying compute, storage infrastructure includes Hypervisor platforms and services hosted at DR site as applicable and ensure high availability of critical application/Infra servicesEnsure overall IT infrastructure is up to date and secure from internal and external threats by configuring required controls at various layersProcess simplification through automation wherever feasibleResponsible for integrated incident, change and problem managementConduct risk assessments and come out with mitigation plans to address availability / security concernsMaintain required records needed for various IT / Security Standard guidelinesLead/collaborate with external product & services vendors for projects execution & supportManage internal and customer escalations effectivelyIdentify root cause of an event that resulted in an undesired outcome, develop corrective actions and share with respective stakeholdersManage, lead and mentor team members. Set measurable goals and deadlines for team membersManage budget, cost and productivity of the tools used in your areaHandle changing priorities and provide decisive leadership in complex situationsExperience, Skills16+ years of experience in core IT Infrastructure ManagementProven experience of successfully delivering projects on-time, within budget, timely communication on projects progress and in scope working in close collaboration with partners and peers located worldwideAbility to lead and work collaboratively with a group of senior technical / management teamsKnowledge and experience working in an ISO 27001, ITIL driven environmentShould be able to organize teams and resolve critical situation or complex requirements.Familiar with tools and technology necessary to manage support (Ticketing tool, monitoring tools, management tools, project tracking etc.)Ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environmentShould be able to influence decision-making and drive project delivery.Knowledge/Experience of public and hybrid cloud solution in AWS/Azure or in both technologies will be an added advantage,
