Job Description

    Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) The role is designed to drive the expansion of special channel and improvement in throughput from this channel with an emphasis on the Car/Jeep segment. The role would include development and implementation of training modules for the internal sales team and store personnel along with working on marketing activations to increase the recall and sales from these channels.The Role includes liasioning with different vendors for launching of new retail stores and timely completion of store launch activities. The incumbent will be responsible for developing new concepts on modern trade and trying pilots in market.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Sales Volume and Revenue achievements for Special channel. Expansion of Special Channel Improvement in special Channel s throughput. Designing & implementation of new store launch. Maintaining correct standards and practices across special channels through implementation of module of frequent store audits, training of sales personnel, visual merchandising and FAB based sales approach. Increase brand awareness through brand promotion and activations for the special channel.KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Formalizing the strategy for appointment of CEAT exclusive channel Formalising the Strategy for expansion of CEAT SHOPPE/SIS/MBO. Identification and formalizing the strategy for expansion into white spaces. Guiding the team with right strategy for exclusive channel expansion in their respective territory. Enabling the sale Ensure achievement of sales target of exclusive stores/MBO s and Shop in Shop(SIS). Monitor & critique the retail channel and sales force to maximize CEAT sales and coverage. Engage with retail channel partner by resolving their problems/challenges with respect to CEAT and its products/activation. Marketing and demand generation. Drive digitialization of the CEAT Shoppes and ensure adoption with the help of sales team. Implement the module of store audits to ensure visibility of products, in-store branding, hygiene standards and adherence to CEAT norms and practices. Strategizing, fomalising and implementation of key marketing programs for increasing the throughput of CEAT Channel. Monitor repeat customers to measure customer retention scores Market Intelligence Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors activity and provide timely market intelligence reports through sales team. Understanding competitor s activity and offerings by meeting competitors channel partners. Developmental Keep abreast of all product and services provided by the company and competitors.Education and Experience Required Education: MBA from Premier B School Experience: 5-8 years , preferably FMCG/ Consumer durables industry, Telecommunication, Paints, Spare Parts, Furniture & Automobile with robust retail background.,
