Job Description

    *Job Purpose:We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to join our creative, dynamic and highly driven who has passion for technology, superior process skills, awesome people skills, a high level of integrity, great technical depth, and a strong desire to build successful engineering teams. As the technology leader you will be well experienced in scaled agile practices, coaching and leading people, designing and delivering large scale solutions(both on cloud and on prem) enabled by technology as well as challenging processes to identify faster, simpler way of resolving foreseen issues. You will also be driving the execution and delivery of our product features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, architects, product owners and engineers. The role expects an end to end involvement in the entire system architecture, understanding and supporting the components in the Digital Ecosystem platform, with a view to deliver on various non-functional aspects such as SDLC, Infrastructure resiliency & scale, building automation tools to reduce manual toil, adopting core SRE principle.Job Duties & responsibilities:Manage a team of developers and QA aligned to the projects under platform. Troubleshoot incidents and ensure appropriate remediation. Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes. Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives Design and implement auto scaling, self-healing and resiliency patterns Design and implement fully automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solution for continuous integration and delivery. Develop and implement migration to public cloud AWS or GCP. Manage multiple projects, track timelines, manage risks and effectively report progress. Coach development teams and keep them up to date by using new languages, tools & models. Remain hands on developing software. Drive development of proof of concept & prototypes for new technologies & products. Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers on solution Strong functional, technical and analytical skills with ability to communicate and bridge between business, operations & IT teams.Required Experience:The Lead should have 10+ years of IT experience and have handled agile team of 6-10 team members. Hands on APIs and micro services design and development experience. Hands on experience in Design patterns/principles. Expert knowledge of Java 8, Threading, Spring boot, Junit, MockIto Write great software adhering to agile software engineering practices (e.g. TDD, continuous integration) Hands on experience in Devops tools like Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc. release automation tools, blue/green deployment. As a lead should expertise in solution, design and Built end to end solutions based on Open Source technologies, APIs/Microservices in the Cloud (any of PCF, AWS and GCP) environment. Good understanding of Networking and Security. Scrum/Agile adoption experience. Front End experience (React JS) will be added advantage. Exposure in working Onshore offshore model is a plus. Exposure in Digital transformation Journey will be added advantage.,
