        • Key Responsibilities : 1Database Administrator is responsible for overseeing the database administration functions of the Cloud services department 2This position is responsible for database planning, design, and implementation, as well as the maintenance and optimization of PostgreSQL DB database supporting our Cloud application 3This role will work closely with the DBAs, development, architecture and infrastructure teams to design and administer databases to provide a
        • Technical Experience : 1 Experience with Failover for HA is required 2Must be able to patch/upgrade PostgreSQL in a HA architecture 3Knowledge of connection poolers like pgPool and pgBouncer ideal 4Thorough knowledge of database security best practices 5 Experience with Implementation in a Cloud Environment ideal 6 Expert in performance analysis and resolution 7Knowledge of Planning and Implementing scripting backup strategies 8Cloud AWS/AZURE/Dockers environment experience preferred
        • Professional Attributes : 1 Communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical individuals at various levels of customer and internal organizations 2 Works as a member of a 24 x 7 team 3Familiarity with Virtual Machine or Docker technology a plus
