Job Description

    Designation: Research Scientist Job Location: Bangalore Department: In vitro Pharmacology (LE), Department of Discovery and Translational Medicine About Syngene Incorporated in 1993, Syngene International Ltd. is an innovation-focused global discovery, development and manufacturing organization providing integrated scientific services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutrition, animal health, consumer goods and specialty chemical industries around the world. Job Purpose (1-2 Lines) Managing a team of scientist to execute assay development and compound screening for discovery programs. Planning of assays, data analysis and interpretation is also a requirement. Key Responsibilities: Assay development, troubleshooting, compound inventory for screening, data analysis, data interpretation and presentation. Educational Qualification: MS, MTech Technical/functional Skills: Biochemical assays (Km, mode of inhibition), Cell culture, cell-based assays, compound screening, use of multimode plate reader, data analysis software (GraphPad or equivalent). The candidate should be proficient in 384-well plate based assays. Some experience in using liquid handling systems (TECAN, JANUS) is preferred. Experience in high throughput flow cytometry and imaging assays is a bonus. Experience: 5-8y Behavioral Skills: Good communication skills, good presentation skills, hardworking, sincere and a team player.
