The RTG hardware engineering teams are distributed across Canada, US, China and India. The team in India is engaging on the enthusiast and high performance GPUs. Front End Design THE ROLE:AMD is looking for a SMTS, Front End Design Engineer with experience in RTL design , Integration of IPs into complex SOCs , LINT, CDC checks.our team will be responsible for prioritization and managing the implementation activities on Graphics SOCs. This is built up from basics like how work spaces are setup, how blocks are coordinated and interacted in a System-On-Chip environment, Performance Power Area signoff, how the tools/flows are developed to automate processes. As always, the team is dedicated to come up with innovative solution to overcome new challenges related to specific project requirements and time-to-market.THE PERSON:
      • Strong self-driving ability
      • Strong problem-solving skills with high drive for improvements
      • Should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Strong understanding standardizing IP protocols
    • Hands on Integrating IPs into complex SOCs in legacy environments
    • RTL quality checks like LINT/CDC should able to close
    • Interaction with multiple IPs and drive the integration activity
    • Able to drive the teams to clean up LINT/CDC
    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
      • Extensive Experience in handling different front end tools like - Bia/Irfit, Spyglass, 0in, VCS
      • Synthesis with low power and upf knowledge
      • Hands on experience on 7nm and sub-7nm projects
      • Experience in Low power and high performance design.
    ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
      • 10+ years of experience in front end design integration and hands on LINT/CDC
      • BE/B.Tech/ME/M.TECH or equivalent ECE/EEE
