Job Description

    1. Sales Strategy and planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned zone, aligning with overall company objectives and OTC product portfolio.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
    • Set sales targets, KPIs and budgets for the zone and monitor performance against these metrics
    2.Team Management and Leadership
    • Recruit, Train and motivate a high performing sales team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and skills to achieve sales targets.
    • Provide coaching, guidance and performance feedback to the team members, fostering their professional development and maximizing their potential.
    • Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities and establish a culture of accountability and teamwork within the sales team.
    3.Sales Execution and Performance Monitoring
    • Implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns and product launches to drive sales volume, market penetration and brand awareness.
    • Monitor sales performance, market share and competitive activities within the zone, taking corrective actions as necessary.
    • Utilize sales analytics and reports to track progress, identify trends and make data driven decisions to improve sales effectiveness.
    4. Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers , including distributors , retailers and pharmacies to drive sales and secure long term partnerships Identify customer needs, anticipate market changes, and proactively address challenges to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular business reviews and negotiate contracts or agreements with key customers to optimize sales opportunities.
    5.Cross Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with marketing,supply chain and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Provide inputs and insights to product development and marketing teams based on customer feedback and market intelligence.
    • Coordinate with the regional and national sales management teams to align strategies and share best practices.
