Job Description

    Must-Have
    • Prepare technical specifications for the ABAP team for any change in the existing development or for new developments
    • Test changes in the Development environment with different test cases provided by the functional team
    • Strong knowledge of code review and best practices used for coding standards
    • Strong knowledge of efficient coding methods, able to analyze system performance for custom objects
    • Coordinate and work closely with cross-functional team members
    • Ability to work under challenging environments and timelines
    • Work with other cross-functional teams during development and configuration activities to ensure the impact on other SAP modules and processes is considered.
    • Essential duties include developing SAP solutions utilizing ABAP development in various areas (ALV Reports, Enhancements/BADIs, Interfaces, Conversions, Function Modules, BAPIs, Workflow, Webdypnro, SmartForms, LSMW, ALE/IDOC, and an understanding of PI/PO, in an SAP ECC 6.0 on HANA database environment).
    • Customize and support the implementation of future SAP modules; ensure custom developments utilize newer technologies and tools; and work closely with the Functional, BASIS, and security teams to coordinate testing, and validation, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions

    Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
    • 6+ years of experience in designing and developing SAP ABAP-based applications including interfaces involved in SAP PI.
    • Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, HANA code push-down techniques, performance-tuning techniques in SAP, etc
    • Should have good experience in designing RICEFW objects in SAP Modules like SAP SD, MM, FICO, PP, etc.
