Senior Account Solution ArchitectPosting Location : Location US-WA-Remote About the job Use your technical knowledge and excellent communication skills in Red Hat to build trusted relationships and provide technical account management for our customers. In this role, you will guide new business with several of Red Hat s most strategic accounts. You will help our team create solutions and advocate compelling recommendations to Red Hat s telco customers and guide them to adopt our innovative open source technology. To achieve this, you will need passion for open source, a thorough understanding of business processes and the ability to identify and create business solutions at the enterprise level. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will specialize in architecting Red Hat s open source technology in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business, west coast location preferred. What you will do
• Educate customers on the capabilities of the Red Hat solutions portfolio and conduct live demonstrations of the solutions
• Build trusted relationships with customers technical staff and leadership
• Identify and qualify opportunities; sell the value of Red Hat solutions
• Manage and carry out complex proofs of concept
• Architect solutions with both Red Hat and partner technology and that meet complex customer requirements
• Gain deep understanding of customer environments and use cases and be the advocate for customer priorities with the business unit (BU)
• Provide leadership and guidance over cross functional teams and specialists supporting your accounts
• Provide overall technical account management
What you will bring
• 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, or equivalent role with enterprise accounts
• Extensive RHEL and/or competitive Linux experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience with emerging technology in areas where Red Hat competes including DevOps, cloud platforms, container platform and orchestration, and virtualization
• Hybrid cloud experience
• Open source experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline
The following is considered a plus:
• Recent Telco network experience including an understanding of key network functions virtualization (NFV) concepts
• Past experience covering T-Mobile or other tier one mobile providers
• Practical experience with Red Hat or competitive solutions
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
• Public cloud certifications
The salary range for this position in Washington is typically $172,410 - $275,800. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
