Job Description

The person is going to be responsible for accounting entries, general ledger and related activities, month close activities, reconciliations, analytical review and to work in sync with other finance team members across the organization.Responsibilities

  • Preparation of journal entries keeping in mind SOX controls.
  • Maintains general ledger, preparing trial balance, Black Line reconciliations
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Accounting for USGAAP & IFRS
  • Ability to imbibe SOX compliance as part of DNA and ensure no deficiencies in the work performed. Quickly able to learn Salesforce way of managing SOX compliance
Required Skills/Experience
  • 5 plus years exp in Accounting, analyzing information, attention to details, deadline oriented, thoroughness in the deliverables, spirit to work as a team and confidentiality
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting basics
  • Relevant industry experience in IT & ITES is preferred.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized work
  • Understanding of ERP systems and willingness to learn quickly not just ERP but also other tools which we use as part of day to day work like Black Line, M7,
  • Good communication skill and ability to act with minimal daily direction from manager
  • Flexibility to work in EMEA time zone for few weeks
